A young man identified as Abdulmalik was killed on Thursday for allegedly stabbing an old woman to death in Ogaminana, Adavi local government area of Kogi state. According to OgaWahab who shared this story, the old woman on Wednesday evening, mistakenly poured water on Abdulmalik which she immediately apologized for.
On the next morning which happened to be Thursday, the young man returned to the woman's house and demanded to see her but the old woman's daughter in law told him that the woman is yet to wake up from sleep but he insisted on seeing her. On seeing her, Abdulmalik asked her to pour that same kolanut water on him again, but the woman respond "it was a mistake my son."
Abdulmalik then stabbed her to death. However, He was also killed at the same spot by angry mob.
